In one moment, my life changed instantly as I witnessed profound management through listening!
After 36 years of wandering through the purposeless sweet of my life with my wits end, I signed up for The Landmark Forum. It was July 1990 where I observed a other student’ s change.
Our own seminar trainer asked one question that altered the course of this particular student’ s anguished life forever. Suddenly, it was 1 filled with a new chance, unfathomable just times just before.
We sat up in my chair, stunned! I had created just witnessed this particular complete change. I experienced it… we all experienced it… as if it were our own change!
We heard myself say within awe, “ How did that just take place? Then I heard the answer in just, “ It was in the way the trainer was listening that allowed her to hear the question occur to be asked. ” It was how she has been listening!
In this moment, We knew my life’ s purpose… to follow along with a path towards listening mastery… learning to listen in a manner that makes a difference. That has been 22 years ago. My path has had twists as well as turns, as each life does, however in reflection it displays that very moment within July 1990.
Indeed, we all know we should be good listeners, but do we actually research, practice and develop our self-awareness enough to develop this skill that is foundational to each experience in our lives? They are my inquiries to you: Do you consciously practice? Do you observe when you are not really listening when you have to end up being, and if so , what do you do then? Do you self-correct at the moment as well as consciously redirect your interest appropriately? Do you recognize when you are inappropriately placing your experience into another’ s conversation? Do you observe what happens within an individual when you take some thing personally when it was not meant this way? Then what happens to the way you listen from that point ahead?
These types of questions are just the tip of the iceberg in the profound realm of listening. Listening is everything. It is the quality level of the medium by which we exist… such as the water to the fish. Fish can swim in all of the different high quality water… the solution the better. For all of us humans, the ‘ clearer the better’.
The actual clearer and more selflessly we listen, the more accessible we become as being a conduit for all awareness; the clearer tv channel we become to the Love we Are. The right kind of listening makes all the distinction in the world… yours, mine and ours. If you undertake practice, thank you in the bottom of my heart. If you don’ t, why not?
